3DS Max + V-Ray: From Zero to Architectural Masterpiece
In this course, participants will gain hands-on experience with 3ds Max and V-Ray by completely recreating the iconic Barcelona Pavilion by Mies van der Rohe. This course is designed for aspiring 3D artists and architects who want to learn professional modeling, material creation, lighting, and rendering techniques in a project-based and practical format. The instructor of this course is an architect, 3ds Max artist, and V-Ray instructor with experience since 2007, who will transfer his knowledge directly and expertly to the learners. Participants will first be introduced to very basic concepts, including the user interface, navigation, and essential tools, and then gradually develop their skills by building models from drawings, reference images, or completely from scratch. During the course, you will learn how to create clean and optimized models, create realistic V-Ray materials, use HDRI and V-Ray Sun for lighting, and produce high-quality renders using various rendering methods and post-processing tools in V-Ray Frame Buffer. The course is completely project-based, and the complete Barcelona Pavilion scene that participants create and render during the course will become part of their professional portfolio. They will also be able to adjust more camera angles and produce as many final renders as they want, demonstrating their ability to build models, apply materials, add lighting, and create professional-quality renders. In addition to the theoretical discussions, practical exercises start right from the beginning. The course is designed so that each concept is completed in a step-by-step practical session immediately after the training, so that participants can apply each concept immediately.
In the 3ds Max + V-Ray: From Zero to Architectural Masterpiece training course, you will learn about 3D modeling, lighting, materialization, and realistic rendering.

3ds Max + V-Ray: From Zero to Architectural Masterpiece
Learn 3ds Max and V-Ray by recreating Mies van der Rohe’s iconic Barcelona Pavilion from scratch. This course is perfect for aspiring 3D artists and architects who want to learn professional modeling, material creation, lighting, and rendering techniques in a practical, project-based format. You’ll start from the very basics — learning the interface, navigation, and essential tools — and gradually build up your skills by creating models from blueprints, reference images, or completely from the ground up. You’ll learn how to build clean, optimized geometry, create realistic V-Ray materials, use HDRI and V-Ray Sun for lighting, and produce high-quality renders using different rendering methods and post-processing tools inside the V-Ray Frame Buffer Portfolio-Ready Project: The course is project-based, and the entire Barcelona Pavilion scene that you build and render during the course will become a part of your portfolio. You’ll also be able to set up even more camera angles and generate as many final renders as you like, showing your ability to build the model, apply materials, add lighting, and create professional-quality renders.
